NOTICE

During the COVID-19 emergency, all playgrounds in Fort Bend County are closed. While parks remain open, be advised that playground equipment and benches have not been sanitized and should not be used. Observe proper distancing as advised by Fort Bend County Public Health.

Olympia Estates has several ways for you and your family to get outside and enjoy a little exercise together.

Olympia Estates Park

Our community park and playground is on Welborn Drive between Naples Point and Pillar Cove, offering swings, slides, and play equipment for the little ones and plenty of green grass for open play. This park is funded by your annual dues and is for the exclusive use of our homeowners and their families.

Vicksburg Walking Trail

This walking path, funded by MUD 47 and 48, connects Olympia Estates, Vicksburg, Lakeshore Harbour, and Kitty Hollow Park.

Enter the trail at these locations:

The end of Yankee Ct.

Truesdale Drive, west of Vicksburg. (watch for a path between two houses as Truesdale curves to the South.)

End of Truesdale Drive, east of Vicksburg at the bayou

Vicksburg Blvd, between Cumberland Drive and Trammel-Fresno Road

A bridge over the bayou will lead you in front of Lakeshore Harbour and to the park. It’s approximately a mile and a half to walk from Vicksburg and Aldridge to Kitty Hollow Park using the sidewalks and walking trail. Note that the path ends towards the front of the park; walking through the park to where the dog park is will add about another mile to your trek.

Kitty Hollow Park

This Fort Bend County park features playgrounds, a fishing pier, a splash pad, baseball fields, soccer fields, picnic pavilions and an extra large pavilion for family reunions, Kitty Hollow Park also has a dog park with separate sections for small and large dogs.

The park is accessible by car from state highway 6 and on foot from the Vicksburg Walking Trail. For information about reserving a pavilion at this park or a map, click here.
